Your own slideshow - step by step

1. Add pictures

To add pictures to SlideDirectorStudio you can choose from any of the following possibilities:

• Click on "Import pictures..." in the "File" menu or press Ctrl-I
• Click the "Import pictures..." button in the toolbar
• drap-n-drop .jpg images from the windows explorer into the SlideDirectorStudio timeline
• Copy and paste .jpg images from the windows explorer into the SlideDirectorStudio timeline

2. Organize pictures

Bring your pictures in the order in which they should be shown in the slideshow:

• Drag and drop the slides within the timeline
• Cut and paste slides
• Use copy and paste to duplicate a slide

3. Define slide properties

Select a slide to set it's properties in the property page:

• Specify whether the selected slide should be displayed until a key is pressed or until a given time has passed
• If you decide to wait a given time, this time must be entered in milliseconds

These properties can also be set on multiple slides at once. To do so, select multiple slides by holding down the "Control" key while selecting a slide in the timeline.

4. Define transitions

Select the "in" and "out" transition of each slide and set their properties in the property page:

• Configure the fade effect
• Configure the zoom & pan effect

These properties can also be set on multiple transitions at once. To do so, select multiple transitions by holding down the "Control" key while selecting a transition in the timeline.

5. Play slideshow

Start your slideshow in windowed or in fullscreen mode.
